Having a newborn baby is an amazing experience but you may have questions or need help finding resources for your family. Parent Help 123 can help you find information about:
Free or Low Cost Insurance
Washington State has health insurance programs that provide free or low cost health insurance to women and their babies who meet the income guidelines. You may qualify for these programs.
Food Assistance Programs
If you need help buying food, you may qualify for the Women, Infants, and Children Nutrition Program (WIC) or the Basic Food Program (food stamps). Other food assistance may be available where you live.
Breastfeeding
If you are planning to breastfeed your baby or have questions about problems you are having breastfeeding, we can help you find support.
Parent Support
After you have your baby, there are support groups for new moms where you can ask questions and meet other new mothers. We can also help you find things you may need for you baby such as clothes or diapers.
